Leave Islamabad early, pass Muzaffarabad and continue along the Neelum corridor to the intended overnight area.

Jeep track and lake approach
Transfer to a suitable local jeep, climb towards the upper base and continue on foot according to current track access.
- 03Day 2 · return
Descend and travel back
Return by jeep to the main vehicle and continue towards Islamabad after the lake attempt.
When the lake attempt should stop
The guide can turn the group around because of weather, darkness, track condition, altitude symptoms or pace. Reaching the lake never takes priority over a safe return.
